Research

The Institute of Inorganic Chemistry focuses its research on the fields of coordination chemistry and molecular catalysis, the modeling of complex molecules, bioinorganic chemistry, and the chemistry of nanoscale clusters. In addition, the institute conducts research in applied quantum chemistry, the chemistry of functionalized polymers, and the synthesis of new materials, as well as N-heteropolycycles as functional materials (SFB 1249).
